He has over 14 years of experience in risk based internal audits, risk assessment & management, corporate governance, forensic reviews, compliance assessments / reviews, anti money laundering reviews, FATCA / CRS, COSO / SOX framework, internal control assessments and business process re-engineering, process augmentation / improvement and systems implementation, capacity building, documentation of policies and procedures, financial management assessments, program evaluations, surveys and research projects.
As part of Grant Thornton's business risk services division, he is responsible for client relationship management, project and team management, planning and overseeing the execution of engagements. His geographical experience spans across Bahrain, Oman, Afghanistan, United States, Sweden, Sudan, Nepal, Cambodia and UAE. He has a Bachelors Degree in Accounting together with specialized certifications including CIA, CFE and CICA
